Hurricane Frances has come and gone...but we're still suffering from its effects. Thank God we're doing fine and we didn't have any major damages over here. But there's lots of split trees and huge fallen branches all over. Apparently one tree fell on the power line that supplies power to a huge section of town - including our house. So we've been without power since Saturday. We're also without water since our house water supply comes from a well. So basically, we're not having too much fun these days. Fortunately, our aunt's house next door has had power the past two days so we've been able to function a little out of there.

Today we got back to working and sewing...we wonder if we'll everything ready for the convention later this month. We've fallen a lot behind schedule. Oh, well... that also means I won't have time to make the new costumes for the One Piece cosplay group. (Maikeru! Gomen nasai!) I'm bummed out...but hey, things could always be worse...and I'm glad they're not. (^^)
