The Story So Far...

While I went MIA from blogging, I did many things…from co-directing a student film, to freelancing as a production assistant, to organizing a Korean language group. I let go and let flow and in so doing, I met the true love of my life…and now I work full time as a video editor, I started my Mary Kay business and I’m engaged to be married next year. This is the story so far…

A couple of weeks ago, the desire to start writing came back to me. So here I am. I wanted to write about my love story and never got around to it. But the other day, my sweet Korean prince sent me a text that had me melting in an instant of joy. He is so sweet, cute and funny…and I wanted to share that moment with everyone…wanted to save that moment forever…so here I am again… and this is the text that made me want to start blogging once more.

Monkey Boy: "Hey im a shy korean boy that would have a dinner date tonight with a beautiful latina"

Beautiful: "Can you please send me a pic? I’ll let you know if I’m interested then."

I waited for his next text, wondering what kind of picture he would send me. Moments later, my cell vibrates. Sure enough, he had texted me a picture. I anxiously opened it and what I saw made me smile so much I kissed the phone thinking of how cute he is.



Monkey Boy: U like?

Beautiful: "OMG you’re so cute and funny…of course I’ll go out to dinner with you!"

It is such little things like this one...the ones that make me fall head-over-heels in love for him all over again...
