I'm a dreamer, striving to be more of a doer. I love entertainment, movies, TV shows, fashion, costumes, music, singing, dancing, theme/dinner parties, traveling, languages and inspiring and being inspired. I have a fatal attraction to cuteness and intense curiosity for other cultures, especially Korean.
Sometimes I wish I could go back to the days where I was a little more naive than I am right now. Ignorance is bliss...Knowing what you want makes the road very narrow. But "that's the way the cookie crumbles."
In "Only You" (one of my all time favorite movies) the main character, a hopeless romantic, exclaims: "Life is not like it is in the movies, right?" Like her, I know this much is true, but in the same way I can't stop being an idealist and wishing it were so.
Many times I do think that life is a movie after all. God is the Master producer, director and writer of the greatest, most original, creative and complex screenplay the Universe has ever seen. He laid out the story for us and created us to be characters through history that were given the freedom and responsibility to write our own parts of the script. When we accept the responsibility of writing our own destiny, we have the ability to compose exciting scenes and interject them between the dull and even sad scenes that we sometimes allow other people to write for us.
With the many voices of different writers collaborating on the timeless masterpiece in the making entitled LIFE, everything and anything could happen. This brings the bad along with the good. But we must not be discouraged. I believe that no matter where the next scene will take us or what goes wrong in the script, we can always make it better...we can have happiness, romance, and even find true love...but it is up to us to make these beautiful scenes happen in our own movie of the time we were given when we once lived our lives on this earth.
So even if it is true, and life it’s not like it is in the movies, I choose to make life around me like a movie...with lots of singing and dancing included as well! I will have my movie moments and try my best to make it so others can have them as well.
Maybe it is through having these movie moments that we get to experience real life.
