I'm a dreamer, striving to be more of a doer. I love entertainment, movies, TV shows, fashion, costumes, music, singing, dancing, theme/dinner parties, traveling, languages and inspiring and being inspired. I have a fatal attraction to cuteness and intense curiosity for other cultures, especially Korean.
1.¡Qué cool! = How cool! 2.¡Brutal! ¡Qué brutal! [broo-tahl] = Awesome! How awesome! 3.¡Wepa! [weh-pah] = expression used for almost any situation, an expression made with a hint of mischievous fun or happiness... (^_-) 4.¡Qué chulo! [choo-loh] = How cute! 5.¡Qué chulería! [choo-leh-ree-ah] = What a cute thing!
1. ¡Qué porq! [short for ¡Qué porquería!] = literally means "What a piece of junk!", but I use it mostly when facing a bad situation...or when something doesn't go as well as expected...or goes wrong. 2.¡Qué fasti! [short for ¡Qué fastidio!] phrase used same as above
And since we're on the subject of negative phrases...let's add some more:
3.Fish sticks! = a nice way of saying c-r-a-p! It originated when I learned that 'crap' is the word for fish (or the name of a fish?!?) in Romanian...
4. ¡Qué miércoles! = another nice way of saying the same thing in Spanish. "miércoles" means Wednesday is Spanish by the way...
Note: For friends that don't know me personally, sorry I posted these! (^_-)hehehe But I thought I should be fair and honest and list the words that give character to my conversations! (>.<) Maybe I shouldn't have? Nah!
